Refund Policy

At Wander & Hike, we strive to provide the best possible experience for our customers. We understand that plans can change, and we have established the following refund policy to ensure fairness for both our customers and our business.

Trip Cancellations

  • Cancellation 60+ days before trip: Full refund minus a 5% processing fee
  • Cancellation 30-59 days before trip: 75% refund
  • Cancellation 15-29 days before trip: 50% refund
  • Cancellation less than 15 days before trip: No refund available

Trip Modifications

  • Date Changes: Free date changes are allowed up to 30 days before the trip, subject to availability
  • Participant Changes: Participant substitutions are allowed up to 7 days before the trip
  • Trip Type Changes: Changes to trip type may be subject to price differences and availability

Force Majeure

In the event of circumstances beyond our control (natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, etc.), we will offer:

  • Full credit for future trips
  • Option to reschedule at no additional cost
  • Partial refund based on recoverable costs

Gear and Equipment

  • Unused Gear: Full refund if returned within 7 days of purchase, in original condition
  • Used Gear: No refunds on used equipment unless defective
  • Defective Items: Full refund or replacement for defective items within 30 days of purchase

Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital products (guides, maps, etc.):

  • No refunds once the digital product has been accessed or downloaded
  • Refunds may be considered for technical issues preventing access
  • Refund requests must be made within 7 days of purchase

Processing Refunds

  • Refunds are processed within 7-10 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method
  • Processing fees may apply depending on the payment method
